La vie \u00e0 bord ce sont aussi, en permanence, 24 heures sur 24, de jour comme de nuit, des activit\u00e9s de d\u00e9ploiement \u00e0 la mer des diff\u00e9rents outils d’\u00e9chantillonnage. Les conditions sont parfois difficiles dans l’Oc\u00e9an Austral mais la majeure partie de ce qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 planifi\u00e9 est d’ores est d\u00e9j\u00e0 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e. A chaque station \u00e9chantillonn\u00e9e sur des dur\u00e9es de 48 \u00e0 60 heures sont ainsi successivement d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s la rosette de pr\u00e9l\u00e8vements et ses nombreux capteurs en continu (une dizaine de d\u00e9ploiements par station \u00e0 des profondeurs allant de 500 \u00e0 4500 m selon l’endroit), les diff\u00e9rents filets simples (WP2 \u00e0 100 \u00b5m et 200 \u00b5m de vide de maille, WP3 \u00e0 300 \u00b5m et filet \u00e0 phytoplancton \u00e0 35 \u00b5m pour les connaisseurs), l’\u00e9chantillonneur de plancton \u00e0 filets multiples (100 \u00b5m de vide de maille), le chalut p\u00e9lagique et enfin les pompes in situ<\/em> filtrant plusieurs centaines de litres directement en profondeur. Durant les transits entre stations, pas de r\u00e9pit non plus pour la scientifique en charge du recensement des pr\u00e9dateurs sup\u00e9rieurs (oiseaux et baleines notamment). Tous ces \u00e9quipements et cette strat\u00e9gie d’observation permettront par la suite de tracer le cheminement de la mati\u00e8re organique au sein des cha\u00eenes alimentaires depuis les bact\u00e9ries jusqu’aux grands pr\u00e9dateurs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
