Bernard QUÉGUINER

Bernard Quéguiner is a biological oceanographer involved in plankton studies. He has got experience in coastal (NE Atlantic coast) and offshore pelagic ecosystems (incl. Atlantic, Pacific, Southern Ocean and Mediterranean ecosystems). Main research subjects include biological oceanography, marine biogeochemistry, global silicon cycle, interactions between carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, silicon and trace-elements in the regulation of phytoplankton productivity and food web community structure.

He has participated to several oceanographic projects in the Southern Ocean and is also presently involved in the project Green Edge in the Arctic Ocean.
